Friday tab: Cox's Hit Show, First Mission lead 18 graded winners
Hit Show and First Mission worked at Churchill Downs on Friday, a week ahead of their starts in the Grade 2 Clark at the Louisville, Ky., track.
Trained by Brad Cox, the 5-year-olds breezed four furlongs in 48.4 seconds, fifth fastest of 16 at the distance. Hit Show is coming off a one length win in the Fayette (G2) over Rattle N Roll, who also is entered in the Clark. First Mission is looking for his first win since the Oaklawn Handicap (G2) in April and last finished fourth in the Goodwood (G1).
