Thursday Santa Anita Park Recap: February 4

Fast main track and good turf course (rail at 30 feet). Edge to early/pressing types on dirt (2 wire jobs – 6f, 8f).

Rafael Bejarano guided home a pair. Phil D’Amato saddled two turf winners.

Thursday’s suggested Late Pick 4 tickets produced two Primary winners (Danzing Candy, Uptown Rythem) and one Secondary winner (Rob’s Pal). I needed Hawkedon in the hillside 6th race to hit the Pick 4 but he failed to reel in post time favorite Hunt.
