Thursday’s Santa Anita Park Recap – April 2

No wire-to-wire winners on the fast main track. A midpack stalker (8f), a 10f wire job, and a downhill stalker accounted for the three firm turf winners (rail at 30 feet).

Doug O’Neill saddled two winners.

On the Late Pick 4 ticket front (races 5-8), I tabbed one Primary winner (Old Man Lake). The difficult Late Pick 4 returned $3,363.50 (.50 cent payoff).
