Thursday’s Santa Anita Park Recap – March 5

Stalkers and closers nabbed all five races on the fast main track. Two stalkers (8f, 6.5f) and a closer (8f) accounted for the three firm turf winners (rail at 30 feet).

Rafael Bejarano and Gary Stevens both guided home two winners.

On the Early 4 ticket front (races 2-5), I got home my first three Primary winners (Celtic Moon, Thermodynamics, Moonlight Meeting). I was alive to five horses in the final leg but first time starter Spanish Queen blasted my value top Doris Johnson and spoiled the party.
