Son of Thunder, a full brother to late sire Laoban, recorded his first winner Sept. 16 at Presque Isle Downs. The 2-year-old filly Miss Moxee is a New York-bred trained by Linda Rice for Pine Ridge Racing. Son of Thunder stood the 2022 breeding season at Waldorf Farm in New York for a $2,500 fee. At some point since then, however, Son of Thunder was gelded, so this is his one mention for the record in bloodstock journalism.
