Freshman Sire Watch - June 12, 2025

The 2025 freshman sire crop is just getting underway and Leinster has taken the lead atop the standings with four winners from 11 starters. With a solid 36.4 percent win rate, the son of Majestic Warrior who currently stands for $2,500 in Florida has established himself as the early leader among debut stallions.

While Leinster leads in total victories, several stallions are posting impressive strike rates with limited opportunities. Yaupon leads all sires with a 66.7 percent win rate from two wins in three starts, while Charlatan holds a 50.0 percent rate with two wins from four starts.
