With an eight-horse field that includes several previous stakes winners, it’s a good idea to view some past performances to help you figure out who the real contenders are.

With free PPs for Met Mile day from our friends at Brisnet, you can check out the morning line favorite, Vekoma, who comes off of a win in the Grade 1 Carter Handicap at Belmont Park.

If you’re a believer in Brisnet’s Prime Power rankings, you’ll also have reason to put your money on Vekoma, as he leads in the metric, which includes factors such as speed, class and pace to rank the field.

However, if you aren’t looking to bet the favorite, the Prime Power rankings give you some other solid options, as there is only a slim gap between Vekoma, and the second-place horse in the rankings, Code of Honor who is coming off of a win in the Westchester (G3) at Belmont Park.

In addition to traditional running lines, Brisnet's Ultimate PPs offer quick handicapping insights for each entrant -- essentially a measure of who's hot, placed well and sizes up based on percentages -- and ranks runners accordingly using Brisnet Speed Ratings.

Dive into the Met Mile PPs below, with the option to go full screen at the lower right of the window, and visit our free past performances page if you aren't seeing an embed.
