The 2021 Preakness Stakes is set to go off Saturday at Pimlico with a scheduled 10-horse field.

Starting from the third post position will be morning-line favorite Medina Spirit, who crossed the wire first in the Kentucky Derby before failing a post-race drug test, putting the Derby victory in jeopardy. Medina Spirit will be joined by his Bob Baffert stablemate Concert Tour in the Preakness.

The race also will include Midnight Bourbon, running for trainer Steve Asmussen. The Tiznow colt finished sixth off a poor start in the Kentucky Derby after finishing second and third, respectively, in the Louisiana Derby (G2) and Risen Star (G2) and winning the Lecomte (G3).

The only other horse entered in the Preakness after running in the Derby is Keepmeinmind for trainer Robertino Diodoro. The Laoban colt finished seventh in the Run for the Roses.

Newly minted Hall of Fame trainer Todd Pletcher will be represented in the race by Unbridled Honor, who finished second in the Lexington Stakes (G3) last out. Rombauer, third-place finisher in the Blue Grass Stakes (G2) for trainer Michael McCarthy, also will race in the Preakness after skipping the Derby.
