SUPERSTAR colt Frankel stretched his unbeaten record to nine with another convincing thumping of his rivals.

The Henry Cecil-trained three-year-old was sent off the 4-11 favourite despite four Group 1 winners being among the seven taking him on - and they proved to be no match for him as he moved clear of them in the closing stages of the race to win by four lengths.

Excelebration, who had won both of his races since finishing third behind Frankel in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot filled second spot at 6-1, with another three and a half lengths back to Immortal Verse who finished third at 7-1.
