FRANKEL continued his preparation for the Qipco Queen Elizabeth II Stakes on October 15 with an impressive piece of work under big-race jockey Tom Queally on Friday morning.
Unbeaten in eight career starts, Frankel worked over 7½f on the Watered Gallop in Newmarket at around 6.30am with stablemates Handheld and Bullet Train.
Settled behind his two lead horses, Frankel travelled easily for Queally before asserting with around two furlongs to run, eventually finishing four lengths clear of his two companions.
"He's in grand order," said a delighted Queally. "He did it all very easily and it was a nice piece of work."
