Frankel Next for Cirrus Des Aigles

CIRRUS DES AIGLES warmed up for his clash with Frankel in the Qipco Champion Stakes at Ascot in two weeks with an impressive victory in the Prix Dollar at Longchamp.

Trained by Corine Barande-Barbe, Cirrus Des Aigles finished second in the Dollar last year, but went one better on Saturday, repeating his 2010 victory in the race.

He was given a super-cool ride by Olivier Peslier, who settled the six-year-old in fourth before the pair gained command to run out easy winners.

Godolphin's Hunter's Light claimed second with Saga Dream third. The John Gosden-trained Colombian was fourth.
