First Ever NYRA Bets Late Pick 5 Carryover Triggered at Saratoga

Joyful Joyful's victory in the 10th race on Friday's Opening Day card at Saratoga Race Course triggered the first ever carryover of the NYRA Bets Late Pick 5 since its launch at Belmont Park on July 4.
Saturday's pool will have a $104,258 carryover starting Race 7 with an approximate post time of 4:16 p.m. The sequence includes the Grade 3, $150,000 Sanford in Race 9 and the Grade 1, $500,000 Diana in Race 10.
The popular multi-race wager covers the last five races of every live card at NYRA's tracks - Saratoga, Belmont Park, and Aqueduct Racetrack - and features a 15 percent takeout rate and $0.50 bet minimum.

Until the end of July, NYRA Bets members are also eligible for a guaranteed minimum $100,000 payout in the event if they have the sole winning ticket on the NYRA Bets Late Pick 5.

There will also be a $48,696 carryover in the Pick 6 on Saturday beginning in Race 6 with an approximate post time of 3:43 p.m.
