Final odds set for 2018 Kentucky Derby Future Wager Pool 3

Justify's eye-catching allowance win Sunday afternoon dropped the unbeaten Bob Baffert trainee's odds four points in late betting for Kentucky Derby Future Wager Pool 3, with his closing price of 6-1 making him the individual favorite as the proverbial windows closed at 6 p.m.
The overall favorite -- again -- was the "All Others" mutuel field of any horse not listed in the Future Wager at 9-2. That speaks to the parity seen on the 2018 Kentucky Derby trail, as two of the weekend's prep winners, Quip in the Grade 2 Tampa Bay Derby and Enticed in the Grade 3 Gotham, weren't involved in Pool 3.
Other top choices were Bolt d'Oro, awarded the Grade 2 San Felipe win, at 7-1, with McKinzie, who beat him by a head across the wire at 9-1.
The fourth and final Future Wager Pool will run from April 6-8.
