Fighting Mad and Cazadero, a pair of talented graded stakes winners coming off of disappointing performances, highlighted Thursday's works.

Clement L. Hirsch (G1) winner Fighting Mad skipped the Breeders' Cup Distaff after a subpar effort in the Zenyatta, but has returned to work in recent weeks. She drilled four-furlongs in 50.00 at Santa Anita Park for Bob Baffert.

Bashford Manor (G3) winner Cazadero was Steve Asmussen's early Breeders' Cup Juvenile prospect before a poor performance in the Saratoga Special against stablemate Jackie's Warrior. He worked four-furlongs in 51.80 at Fair Grounds as he looks to get back on the Derby Trail.
