Field of Gold will remain in training as a 4-year-old.

A son of Kingman out of the Shamardal mare Princess de Lune, Field of Gold was one of the leading 3-year-old milers of 2025 in Europe.

Conditioned by John and Thady Gosden for owner Juddmonte, he began his three-year-old season with a 3 1/2-length victory in the Craven (G3) at Newmarket. After missing by a half length to Ruling Court in the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket, he romped in the Irish 2,000 Guineas (G1) at The Curragh on May 24.

He followed that up with a dominant 3 1/2-length score in the St. James's Palace Stakes at Ascot, decisively outfinishing Henri Matisse.

In two more starts this year he was fourth behind Qirat in the Sussex (G1) at Goodwood on July 30, and fifth behind Cicero's Gift in Saturday's Queen Elizabeth II at Ascot. He was the beaten favorite both times.

He will not run again in 2025, and will get a break before his 4-year-old campaign.
