Promises Fulfilled, the 7-5 morning-line favorite in the $150,000 True North Stakes (G2), is among the scratches for Saturday's four-race stakes slate at Belmont Park.

Promises Fulfilled was scheduled to make his first start since running sixth in last October's Phoenix Stakes (G2) at Keeneland. Trained by Dale Romans, the 5-year-old son of Shackleford is a Grade 1 winner and earner of nearly $1.5 million for Robert Baron and WinStar Farm.

Also scratching from the True North was Wait for It, who was 12-1 on the morning line. The son of Uptowncharlybrown, trained by Edward Coletti, was hoping to bounce back from a fifth-place finish in the Harrison E. Johnson Memorial Stakes in March at Laurel Park.

Earlier on the program, in the $100,000 Vagrancy Stakes (G3), Mother Mother, trained by Bob Baffert, was scratched. She was 4-1 on the morning line. In the $250,000 New York (G2), 5-2 second-choice Mrs. Sippy was scratched. Trained by Graham Motion, she was set to make her first start since running ninth in last year's Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf.
