Bauer-trained 3-year-old filly overcame a challenging pace scenario to win by three-quarters of a length in a one-mile maiden special weight on firm turf. Mario Gutierrez guided the 2-1 favorite to victory for Rigney Racing LLC in the 12-horse field, with her running comment noting she "stalked 3-path, led upper stretch, edged ahead, driving." The combination of impressive breeding, strong figure and determination to prevail in a competitive field suggests Tam Tam could develop into a serious turf prospect.
