The filly, who has raced at routes and sprints on dirt and turf in her young career, has performed best stretching out on grass for trainer John Terranova. She followed a neck second to Ready for Candy in the 1 1/8-mile Grade 2 Sands Point at Aqueduct on Oct. 18 with her second win in three starts. She broke her maiden at one mile on the Aqueduct turf in September.
Love You Anyway led the seven-horse field through fractions of 24.28, 49.12 and 1:13.11 over firm turf. Jockey Flavien Prat guided Fast Market from off the pace. She finished in 1:43.22.
Love You Anyway earned black type for the first time for trainer Rusty Arnold. She held second by a half-length over Sweet Treasure. Peak Hype took fourth, followed by Correto, Starship Pegasus and Paradise City. It Ain’t Two and main-track-only entrant With the Angels scratched.
Bred in Kentucky by Breed First, Fast Market improved her record to 11: 2-3-1. She has earned $132,634.
“She’s just a nice filly,” Terranova said. “She finally put it all together her last few starts, and it’s more of the same. She’s getting better and better. She’s a later foal, so she took a little while for us to figure out. But we finally got it all right, and she’s been real consistent. We can’t wait for next season.
Love You Anyway returned to stakes company after running second and third in allowance races in Kentucky. Her record stands at 7: 1-2-2.
