Fast Anna, a 10-year-old son of Medglia d'Oro who last raced in 2015, was euthanized on Monday because of complications from a monthlong battle with laminitis, according to Tom Hamm, director of nomination and sales at Three Chimneys.
Out of champion Dreaming of Anna, he had a record of 3-2-2 from nine starts for owner and breeder Frank Calabrese.
Fast Anna was the sire of four stakes winners, including multiple stakes winners Been Studying Her and Fast Scene.
