Fasig-Tipton reschedules 2-year-olds in training sale

Fasig-Tipton is rescheduling its 2020 May Midlantic Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale, which will now be held on Monday and Tuesday, June 29-30, at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, Md. The sale’s under tack show will be held on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, June 24-26.

“The latest data on the progression of the COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with social distancing recommendations and stay-at-home orders, has necessitated the change of dates,” Fasig-Tipton President Boyd Browning said in a news release. “Fortunately, we had already planned on having an auction in Maryland in late June, so moving the May auction to these June dates made sense for all participants.”

These June sale dates will supersede the previous dates announced for a second Midlantic Two-Year-Old auction. That auction will be replaced with this rescheduled May auction, now being conducted over those dates. Fasig-Tipton will consider holding an additional two-year-old auction at a later date, should there be sufficient demand and need.
