The stable area at Santa Anita Park was a little less hectic on Sunday, the day after the facility had finished hosting the Breeders’ Cup World Thoroughbred Championships.
There was, however, plenty of activity surrounding several of the fillies and mares that had participated in the two-day racing extravaganza. Several shipped out of California for Kentucky, where they go through the sale ring this week, either at Fasig-Tipton's November Sale on Tuesday or at Keeneland, which continues the bidding Wednesday.
Here’s a list of fillies and mares that are scheduled to be sold, with notes about those that have been withdrawn in favor of returns to racing in 2020.
