Fanticola remained undefeated since switched to turf, leading most of the way in the $52,750 feature Thursday at Betfair Hollywood Park.Owned by Anthony Fanticola and Joseph Scardino and trained by Mike Mitchell, the 3-year-old Silent Name filly has won three in a row on grass after beginning her career with a pair of seconds and a third on Del Mar’s Polytrack.

Out of the Tabasco Cat mare Catalina Cat, Fanticola took over from Ricspretentiousgal while between horses into the first turn, relaxed well under jockey Joe Talamo and repelled all challengers in the final quarter of a mile.

Bred in Ontario, Canada by Hedgestone Management and Frank Mermenst, Fanticola, who won by three-quarters of a length, covered the 1 1/16 miles in 1:41.77 and paid $13.40, $6.80 and $4.80. She’s earned $144,800.

The victory was the 905th at Hollywood Park for Mitchell, who is second on the all-time list at the historic track, which will have its final day of racing Sunday, Dec. 22.

Bobby Frankel, the legendary Hall of Famer who died in 2009, leads with 952 wins.

Wittgenstein, a 19-1 shot, was second, a half-length in front of 11-1 outsider Fantastic Mizz, who finished a head in front of a troubled Flashy Ways.

Making her third start on the BHP grass – she finished seventh in the Grade II Honeymoon Handicap and eighth in the Grade I American Oaks earlier in the year – Wittgenstein paid $14.20 and $10. The show price on Fantastic Mizz was $8.40.

Completing the order of finish were Silver Hustler, 2-1 favorite Indecise, Ricspretentiousgal and 7-2 second choice Miss Well Molded.
