Engage, Finite lead Tuesday's graded stakes works

Engage had his third drill back from an extended vacation on Tuesday as he gears up for a fall campaign. The Grade 2 sprinter had an easy 4-furlong workout at Churchill Downs. Fellow Steve Asmussen stakes winner Finite put forth a 5-furlong drill under the Twin Spires. Check out the list of graded stakes workers on Tuesday below:

Engage (Into Mischief) a Grade 2 winner (2019 Phoenix), worked 4 furlongs in 51.8 at Churchill Downs on Tuesday morning. It was the 41st fastest of 46 works at the distance. His previous work was six days ago going 4 furlongs at Churchill Downs. In his last start, he placed fourth in the Breeders' Cup Sprint (G1) going 6 furlongs on the main track at Santa Anita Park on Nov. 2 for trainer Steve Asmussen.

Finite (Munnings) a two time Grade 2 winner (2020 Rachel Alexandra, 2019 Golden Rod), worked 5 furlongs in 1:01.4 at Churchill Downs on Tuesday morning. It was the fifth fastest of 14 works at the distance. Her previous work was six days ago going 5 furlongs at Churchill Downs. In her last start she placed fourth in the Fair Grounds Oaks (G2) going 1 1/16 miles on the main track at Fair Grounds on March 21 for trainer Steve Asmussen.

Diamond Oops (Lookin At Lucky) a two time Grade 3 winner (2019 Mr. Prospector, 2019 Smile Sprint), worked 5 furlongs in 1:05.0 on turf at Palm Meadows Training Center on Tuesday morning. It was the seventh fastest of 11 works at the distance. His previous work was 19 days ago going 5 furlongs at Palm Meadows Training Center. In his last start, he placed second in a handicap going 1 mile on the main track at Gulfstream Park on June 13 for trainer Patrick Biancone.

Gentle Ruler (Colonel John) a two time Grade 3 winner (2019 Dowager, 2019 Robert G. Dick Memorial), worked 5 furlongs in 1:02.1 at Saratoga on Tuesday morning. It was the only work at the distance. Her previous work was seven days ago going 4 furlongs at Saratoga. In her last start she won the Robert G. Dick Memorial going 1 1/4 miles on the main track at Delaware Park on July 11 for trainer Ian Wilkes.
