Ricky Ricky rallied through an opening inside and notched a neck victory over More Wine Won in Saturday's feature race for 3-year-olds at Emerald Downs.
Under a perfect ride by Robert Burney, Ricky Ricky ran 5 ½ furlongs in 1:03 1/5 and paid $25.60, $12.40 and $4.60. Debbie Van Horne trains the Oregon-bred gelding for owners John and Laurie Ansell.
More Wine Won, an 18-1 long shot ridden by Ricky Frazier, overcame a poor start and was flying late to take second place. The runner-up paid $11.40 and $4.60.
