I thought we would get the lead easy, but (Snowbound Marquita) came up on the inside, so I let her have the lead. (Private Fortune) did get ahead of me in the stretch, but I knew I had more horse. I just didn't know when she was going to use it. It's great to get my first stakes win at Emerald. I've got to start somewhere. JOCKEY RICKY FRAZIER, KNIGHT RAIDER: “I felt we'd be on lead, but she wouldn't get on the bridle at all. She was the ultimate professional in the paddock, but somewhere she just totally lost focus. It took a quarter-mile to get her to run. I had a couple openings on the inside, and I really had to ride her to get up there. She had already switched to her left lead early and that's too far to run on the left lead. I don't have any excuses for why she didn't run her race. She was so relaxed that maybe I should've wound her up more.”
