Emanuel Cosme Rides 1,000th Winner

Jockey Emanuel Cosme scored the 1,000th win of his career when he guided RNB Racing LLC’s Phaniebdancing, trained by Terrel Gore, to the winner’s circle in Saturday’s 2nd race at Hawthorne Race Course.
Mr. Cosme was, understandably, quite happy, “It’s been a long time coming. I’m very excited. I was started to wonder when it was going to happen. I was even looking at other racetracks, just so I could get it done.”
Manny probably had to wonder what was going on. He had multiple live mounts on two different race cards at Fairmount but the cards were cancelled. But, it’s out of the way now. He can start setting his sights on win number 2,000.
