Eduardo Perez Earns 2000th Win

Eduardo E Perez. Perez, Eddie or Shorty, scored the 2000th riding win of his career early on Wednesday afternoon, riding Cristel Racing Stable’s Lighthouse Judge, trained by Mark Cristel, to victory in Hawthorne’s first race.

The 45-year-old Perez, both February 17, 1966, was joined in the winner’s circle by fellow riders, valets, Racing Officials, various media personnel, Tom Morgan (his agent) and track management for a presentation following the race.
