Eclipse awards will be held Jan. 25 in Florida

The National Thoroughbred Racing Association, Daily Racing Form and the National Turf Writers and Broadcasters said the 53rd annual Eclipse Awards, honoring Thoroughbred racing’s human and equine champions of 2023, will be held Jan. 25, at The Breakers Palm Beach in Florida.

"After a great success this past year, we are excited to bring the Eclipse Awards back to The Breakers Palm Beach,” NTRA president and CEO Tom Rooney said. “The enthusiasm for this event continues to build, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to Palm Beach at the prestigious Breakers to honor racing’s champions.”

Ticket sales for the black-tie Eclipse Awards will begin on Nov. 20. Hotel information will be released in the coming weeks. To stay up to date on the 53rd Annual Eclipse Awards and for more information, visit the NTRA website.

In the Eclipse Awards for 2022, Flightline was the easy choice for horse of the year. Todd Pletcher was voted the top trainer, and Irad Ortiz Jr. was the top jockey.
