The National Thoroughbred Racing Association, Daily Racing Form and the National Turf Writers and Broadcasters announced Tuesday that the 52nd annual Eclipse Awards, honoring Thoroughbred racing’s human and equine champions of 2022, will be held Thursday, Jan. 26, at The Breakers Palm Beach, marking the return of the event to Florida.

VIP pre-sale for tickets to the black-tie Eclipse Awards will begin Monday, Nov. 7, and general ticket sales will begin Monday, Nov. 14.

The last Eclipse Awards presentation was held Feb. 10 at Santa Anita. It was designed to be part of Super Bowl week in the greater Los Angeles area. It marked the first time they were presented in California since January 2012.

The Eclipse Awards were most recently held in Florida in January 2020 during their run at Gulfstream Park. The 2021 show was a recorded ceremony that was produced out of Lexington, Ky., and presented online because of the COVID pandemic.
