Does Hilda's Passion Have Inside Information?

Todd Pletcher's fleet filly Hilda's Passion exits a sharp wire job in the Hurricane Bertie (G3) and she is back for more in Saturday's Inside Information (G2) at Gulfstream Park. The extended sprint test has also attracted Amen Hallelujah.

Hilda's Passion is clearly fast but seven furlongs is probably not her best distance. She held on in the seven panel Raven Run (G2) at Keeneland last fall and should get the trip on Saturday because there is not much speed to go with her. Javier Castello has the mount on the obvious wire-to-wire threat.

Amen Hallelujah has not gotten any pace help in two starts this year but she did improve in a clearly second best effort behind Pletcher's Awesome Maria in the one-mile Sabin (G3) on Feb 19. Rick Dutrow gives John Velazquez a leg up and she will likely be pressing the issue from the outset.

Hurricane Bertie runner-up Ms Vanenzza is also part of the field, along with Stephanie Got Even, Milwaukee Appeal, Choragus, and Beautician.
