Discreetly Mine, one of the nation’s top 3-year-old sprinters who led all the way in the King’s Bishop Stakes (gr. I) at Saratoga this year, will enter stud in 2011 at William S. Farish’s Lane’s End Farm near Versailles, Ky. His fee is $15,000 live foal.
Bred by the late E. Paul Robsham, Discreetly Mine raced as a homebred for Robsham’s widow, Joyce, in the name of E. Paul Robsham Stables. Discreetly Mine is by 2003 Horse of the Year Mineshaft , a successful young sire who stands at Lane’s End.
Discreetly Mine finished in the top two in nine of 13 races and earned $799,350 while trained by Todd Pletcher. Four of his five wins came in graded stakes.
