Grade 1 Arkansas Derby winner Renegade closed as the 4-1 favorite in the sixth and final pool of the Kentucky Derby 2026 Future Wager, which wrapped Saturday after three days of wagering.

Florida Derby (G1) winner Commandment settled as the 7-1 second choice. The Puma, trained by Gustavo Delgado, was the third choice at 12-1, followed by Chief Wallabee (13-1) and Emerging Market (15-1).

Both Renegade and Commandment are sons of Into Mischief. Renegade is trained by Todd Pletcher; Commandment is trained by Brad Cox.

The "All Other 3-Year-Olds" mutuel field closed at 25-1.

Pool 6 closed at 6 p.m. ET ahead of Saturday's three final Road to the Kentucky Derby Championship Series prep races: the Blue Grass (G1), Wood Memorial (G2) and Santa Anita Derby (G1).

Total handle for the three-day pool was $393,707, including $279,468 in the win pool and $114,239 in exactas. That marked a decline from last year's total of $483,121.

Overall wagering on Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks future wagers totaled $2,208,663 this year, down from $2,330,748 in 2025.

The Kentucky Derby Future Wager, offered for a 28th consecutive year, gives bettors access to odds on potential Derby contenders that could prove more attractive than those available on race day. The 152nd Kentucky Derby is scheduled for Saturday, May 2 at Churchill Downs.
