Derby Future Update from Lucky's Race & Sports Book - February 8

With his second published breeze in the books as he heads toward his 3-year-old debut, Uncle Mo continues to take heavy action as the favorite in Lucky’s Race & Sports Book’s Kentucky Derby futures.

Dialed In is the new second choice, as he continues to take steady money since his impressive win in the Holy Bull for Nick Zito. To Honor and Serve is a close third choice as we await his sophomore debut.

Recent movers include Whirlaway winner Toby’s Corner and the one-two finishers in a recent Gulfstream Park allowance: Shakleford and Casper’s Touch.

Lucky’s is likely to see a lot of Derby future action with four major preps on tap for Saturday with important opportunities to pick up graded stakes earnings.

Favoritism in the $225,000 Sam F. Davis at Tampa Bay Downs could go to Brethren, the half-brother to Super Saver, who was last seen in an impressive allowance score at Churchill Downs. With no graded earnings yet, Brethren remains a square price in the futures.

In the $250,000 Robert B. Lewis, Tapizar, fourth choice in the Lucky’s futures, will try to remain the top California-based Derby prospect. Comma to the Top should go favored in the $200,000 El Camino Real Derby at Golden Gate.
