With the Belmont Stakes just less than two weeks away, many racing fans are excited to see a potential Triple Crown on the line with California Chrome looking to become the first horse to capture the three American Classics since Affirmed in 1978. To add to all the excitement, DerbyWars presents $25,000 Belmont Day Game on Saturday June 7th. This game is a pre-qualifier for the National Handicapping Championship at Treasure Island in Las Vegas next January.

The Top 10 finishers in the game will be able to play in the FINALS on July 6th, where two people can earn a spot in the NHC.

The game includes a fully loaded stakes program at Belmont Park that includes the Grade 1 Ogden Phipps Handicap which is scheduled to feature Eclipse Award winner Beholder and last year's Kentucky Oaks winner Princess of Sylmar, and

the Grade 1 Metropolitan Handicap which could feature last year's Belmont Stakes winner Palace Malice and some contenders from last year's Kentucky Derby with Goldencents, Normandy Invasion, and Vyjack. First place in the game is awarded $5,000, second, third and fourth place finishers are awarded $4,000, $3,000 and $2,000, respectively.

The contest will be held in a bullet format, where each contestant will have a $2 win-place wager on one horse in each race. Payoffs will be capped at $32 to win and $18 to place. There will also be an Early Bird bonus of 500 points awarded to the first 25% of people who enter the contest. Players are limited to three entries for this game and there is a maximum amount of 125 spots available, 22 of which are already taken.
