DerbyWars and Watch and Wager LLC, the operator of Cal Expo Harness, have signed an agreement to promote the upcoming harness racing meeting that returns to the Sacramento oval on October 22.

"Watch and Wager and the California Harness Horseman are excited to enter into this potentially groundbreaking agreement with DerbyWars," said Cal Expo Harness General Manager Chris Schick. "We believe that these contests will open up a new fan base to Cal Expo, in addition to energizing our current base."

DerbyWars is horse racing's biggest contest site featuring contests seven days a week and hundreds of contests each week. Players can compete against each other for free or for cash and prizes in games ranging from two players to 100 or more players.

"We are excited to be partnering with Cal Expo and leveraging contests to get more players following Cal Expo racing each week," said Mark Midland, CEO of DerbyWars. "We are working on some innovative opportunities to grow the audience."
