DerbyWars $25,000 Head-to-Head March Bracket Championship has gone from 64 players 2 weeks ago to a Final Four today! This month's contenders are all new to the Final Four, so let's get to know them!
Carl Rasak (Razor) had an incredible weekend, posting the narrowest margin of victory on Saturday and then topping all scores on Sunday!
In Saturday's Sweet Sixteen round, Terry Slattery (Toastking) was feeling home free in his matchup with Rasak, that is until Ashleyluvssugar powered to victory in the San Luis Rey at Santa Anita! Slattery had scored $60.60 to Rasak's $45.60 up to that point, but the Peter Eurton trainee upset favored Finnegan's Wake and added $18.00 to Rasak's score, putting him $3.00 ahead of Slattery and advancing to the Elite Eight!

On Sunday, Rasak ran away with his Elite Eight game, defeating Paul Sadler (Clover) handily by scoring $54.80, which topped all scores on Sunday. Sadler reached the Elite Eight by defeating 2014 NHC runner-up Tony Brice (Lonestar609).
Rasak said he "entered into horse racing in 1968 as a fan at Santa Anita, became a tournament player in 2005."
He won the $10,000 High Stakes game last April and is a familiar face in the Santa Anita games.
Rasak's strategy in contests is simple: "Win."
Rasak has now won 4 Head-to-Head matchups in a row, and has only 2 more games to reach the $10,000 First Prize and champion's trophy! Should he be the ultimate champion, Rasak says he will "Give trophy to my Grandson as a memento (and) seed (his) college fund with the 10k."
As for the NCAA brackets, "picking KY is too apparent...rooting for Michigan State."
