Because of significant rainfall in the Wilmington, Del., area this week and more in the forecast, the $200,000 Cape Henlopen, a 1 1/2-mile turf race, was rescheduled from Saturday and will be run as a supporting feature on the Delaware Derby and Oaks card on Saturday, June 14.

The remaining seven races on the live racing card Saturday will be run as scheduled, including the six-furlong $100,000 Rehoboth Stakes.

The National Weather Service forecast for Wilmington calls for rain beginning Thursday night and continuing through Saturday night, with an 80 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms on Saturday.
