Deja Vu In DerbyWars NHC Game and $20,000 Contests

With 2 NHC Spots on the line, a $20,000 Saturday Game and a $4,000 High Stakes game on Sunday, there was plenty to play on DerbyWars this weekend. It was an incredible double for the top two finishers in the NHC Game, who repeated in the $20,000 game! Get the scoop below...

As current NHC Tour leader, Brett Wiener had already qualified twice for the NHC. But he had qualified early for the DerbyWars NHC game and played in it anyway. On Saturday he got on a serious roll, however, outscoring all others to win the NHC Game AND the $20,000 Game! With Brett already qualified, that NHC spot would go to the 3rd-place finisher - Sarah Wiener, Brett's wife! In second place was Ed Peters (fantini33), who nabbed his second NHC spot on DerbyWars! It was deja vu in the $20,000 Saturday game, as Brett Wiener (bwiener) took down the top prize and Ed Peters (fantini33) followed up in second once again! Steven Okpych (suffolk otb) was third with Mike Martin (actioncatxmike) in fourth. The top 3 finishers earned a spot in the $100,000 game as well as cash prizes! In Sunday's $4,000 High Stakes game, Barbara Bowley (Sophia) beat the boys for the $3,000 first prize! Runner up was Bill Roth (masterofpicks19) for the $1,000 second prize. Your chance to play in a High Stakes game is Sunday!
