Three invitees to next Saturday’s $500,000 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Presented by Lane’s End (G1) put in works over a firm Keeneland turf course Saturday morning.

Working first on her own was Normandy Farm’s Daddys Lil Darling. With Robby Albarado aboard, the winner of the Dueling Grounds Oaks covered a half-mile in :49.20. Kenny McPeek trains Daddys Lil Darling.

Working in company for trainer Chad Brown were New Money Honey and Uni (GB) who covered 5 furlongs in 1:04.20. E Five Racing Thoroughbreds owns New Money Honey, winner of last year’s Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1). The partnership of Michael Dubb, Head of Plains Partners, Robert LaPenta and Bethlehem Stables owns Uni.

A victory by Robert Susi’s True Romance in today’s Thoroughbred Club of America (G2) would give trainer Timothy Hills his 2,000th North American career win. Joe Bravo is to ride the 6-year-old Yes It’s True mare, who will start from post position seven in the field of eight and is 20-1 in the morning line.
