Curlin, the 2007-08 Horse of the Year, came through with his first two winners when the colts Lucky First and Zimniy Dvorets won in Russia June 17.
Zimniy Dvorets captured the group II Summer Prize Stakes. Bred in Kentucky by Aaron and Marie Jones, he is the second foal out of multiple stakes winner Stolen Prayer (by Songandaprayer). Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency to the 2011 Keeneland September yearling sale, the colt was purchased for $25,000 by MAB Agency.
