8 Cox stars lead 36 graded-stakes winners working on Friday

It was a busy morning for two-time Eclipse Award-winning trainer Brad Cox, who sent eight graded-stakes winners out for workouts on Friday morning. Leading the Cox contingent were reigning champion older female Idiomatic, who breezed five furlongs in 1:00.8 at Churchill Downs, and Grade 1 winner Angel of Empire, who breezed a half-mile in 48.8 second, also at Churchill. 

Overall, 36 graded-stakes winners worked from coast to coast on Friday.

Idiomatic (Curlin), a three-time Grade 1 winner (2023 Breeders' Cup Distaff, 2023 Spinster, 2023 Personal Ensign), worked five furlongs in 1:00.8 at Churchill Downs on Friday morning.
