Cox Plate favorites to contend with outside barrier draws

The playing field was further leveled today at the barrier draw for Saturday's $3 million Tatts Cox Plate with the the top three favorites all drawing to the outside. Uber-talented Caulfield Guineas winner, Helmet, will break from barrier 11; New Zealand Horse of the Year, Jimmy Choux, will contend from barrier 10 while fellow Kiwi 2010 VRC Derby winner, Lion Tamer, has the toughest task--breaking from barrier 16.
