Golden Ballet, a grade I-winning and grade I producing broodmare by Moscow Ballet, brought $1.4 million during the first session of the Keeneland November breeding stock sale.

Aisling Duignan, director of sales for Coolmore’s North American division, Ashford Stud, signed the ticket for Golden Ballet, a daughter of the unraced Slew o' Gold mare Golden Jewel Box. In foal to Unbridled's Song  , Golden Ballet was consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent for Aaron and Marie Jones.

“Golden Ballet will go to Ireland to be bred to Galileo,” said Duignan of the 12-year-old mare, who is the dam of this year’s Belmont Stakes (gr. I) winner Drosselmeyer (by Distorted Humor  ), and other stakes winner and grade I-placed runner Stage Luck (by Unbridled’s Song).
