Globetrotting multiple Group 1 winner Con Te Partiro will run in the Breeders' Cup at Keeneland and will proceed to sell at the Keeneland November breeding stock sale.
Con Te Partiro, who sold at Keeneland as a yearling, was a smashing debut winner at the track's 2016 spring meet as a juvenile and would go on to run on three continents and 14 racetracks with two top-level wins.
“Con Te Partiro has excelled at the highest level of international racing while she has exemplified just how small the global Thoroughbred industry is,” Keeneland President-Elect and Interim Head of Sales Shannon Arvin said in a press release. “We are thrilled to hold a Keeneland homecoming for Con Te Partiro.” The 6-year-old daughter of Scat Daddy out of Temple Street, by Street Cry, is trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott. She is currently owned by SF Bloodstock, who purchased her for $575,000 in Nov. 2018 at the Fasig-Tipton fall mixed sale.
The mare has won two Group 1 events this year -- the Coolmore Legacy at Randwick and Coolmore Classic at Rosehill. She finished fifth in her last start, the Winx Stakes (G1) at Randwick.
“Con Te Partiro truly is a one-of-a-kind mare,” said Tom Ryan of SF Bloodstock in a press release. “Her accomplishments on the track – including two Grade 1 wins in Australia, stakes victories at both the Royal Ascot and Saratoga race meets and successes on both dirt and turf – put her in an elite category of racehorses with the ability to perform at the highest level around the world.
Con Te Partiro has earned $828,719 on the track since 2016.
