Commonwealth Turf: Odds, PPs, more for Churchill feature

Three-year-old turfers take center stage in the Grade 3, $300,000 Commonwealth Turf Stakes at Churchill Downs on Saturday. 

A field of eight is expected for the 1 1/16-mile turf test, which goes as race 10 of 11 at approximately 5:25 p.m. EST. FanDuel TV will carry the live broadcast of the Commonwealth Turf.

My Boy Prince and Herchee are projected to show the most early speed in the Commonwealth Turf, though the pace should not be too fast. Ak Sar Ben Derby figures to be the back marker.

This week's Super Screener has identified the J. V. Morreale Memorial Stakes at the Fair Grounds as a prime betting opportunity this Saturday.

DeRosa also has Chilukki fair odds, and he believes Two Sharp is simply too good for her competition in the other Saturday stake at Churchill.
