Clairvoyant Lady posts upset victory in White Clay Creek

Lynch Racing’s Clairvoyant Lady posted an upset victory in the $50,000 White Clay Creek Stakes at Delaware Park today.

With Trevor McCarthy aboard, the 2-year-old daughter of Astrology won by 1 1/4-lengths and returned $63.60 as the longest shot in the field of six.  You Know Too, the 1-to-5 favorite with Erick Rodriguez, finished second.  It was another half-length further back top Easy Money, with Andre Shivnarine Worrie, in third.

Clairvoyant Lady covered the five and a half furlongs in 1:05.93 over a fast main  track.  In her previous outing, the Kentucky-bred daughter trained by Cathal Lynch broke her maiden by a neck going five furlongs in a $40,000 maiden claiming event at Laurel on July 15.  Her career record is two wins from three starts with earnings of $50,310.
