CIRRUS DES AIGLES (Corine Barande-Barbe/Olivier Peslier) landed his third Group 1 in impressive fashion in the Ganay, taking the lead early and slowly pulling away from his rivals to beat Giofra and Reliable Man with contempt.
Peslier took things up in the back straight and set a steady gallop on the winner, before injecting pace into the contest rounding the home bend to stretch the field.
Entering the home straight Cirrus Des Aigles was three lengths clear of his nearest pursuers and pulled further clear under nothing more than hands and heels urging from Peslier to win by eight lengths.
