Wednesday’s Derby City 6 jackpot will give horseplayers a chance to score a massive payday with the carryover standing at $350,907 for the 10-race card.

The Derby City 6 jackpot, which challenges bettors to have the only winning combination to take down the jackpot, has a 20-cent denomination with a 15% takeout. If there are multiple winning combinations, 90% of the daily pool will be paid, out with the remaining 10% going to the carryover.
Wednesday’s sequence, with scratches as of 10 a.m. EST
- Race 5, 2:57 p.m.: Maiden 2-year-old fillies, 5 furlongs (turf), 12 runners
- Race 6, 3:26 p.m.: Maiden claiming, 3 and up, 6 furlongs, 11 runners
- Race 7, 3:55 p.m.: Allowance, fillies and Mare, 6 furlongs, eight runners
- Race 8, 4:25 p.m.: Maiden, 2-year-od fillies, 5 furlongs (turf), 12 runners
- Race 9, 4:55 p.m.: Allowance, fillies and mares, 6 furlongs, nine runners
- Race 10, 5:25 p.m.: Allowance, fillies and mares, 6 1/2 furlongs, seven runners
The main track was sealed throughout training but thanks to Mother Nature was able to dry out and be listed as “good” to start the card. The turf was labeled as “firm,” with the temporary rail placed at 24 feet.
