Churchill: Rain, Snow Showers Friday

The weather forecast for Nov. 5, first day of the Breeders' Cup World Championships, got a bit more interesting with predictions of rain and snow showers from late in the evening of Nov. 4 through noon the following day.

Weather.com is calling for a high temperature of 48 degrees for the Friday program; it will be in the upper 30s through noon. Breeders’ Cup could benefit from having a first post time of 2 p.m. EDT at Churchill Downs, because skies are expected to clear and the temperature to remain steady through early evening.

The chance of precipitation is 30%, according to weather.com. The forecast for Saturday, Nov. 6 calls for sunshine and a high temperature of 52 degrees.
