Looking at the pace

The TimeformUS pace projector indicates a pace that is neither fast or slow, with no. 4 Oeuvre and no. 9 Hot and Sultry vying for the lead.

The HRN pace report gives the Chilukki a pace rating of 59, which is not considered fast, but it is just below the cutoff of a fast pace, which is in the 60s. A few of the races are highlighted orange for a potentially fast pace: races no. 5, 6, 9 and 11. But, the Chilukki is close as well. What that means if another horse goes to the lead, a fast pace could easily develop.

HRN Chilukki picks

Following the great Super Screener performance from Breeders' Cup it's been a hot streak of Super Screener picks that will try keep going this weekend.

The Super Screener is focused on top win contenders no. 9 Hot and Sultry (7-2) and no. 7 Falconet (4-1). The Super Screener says:

'Hot and Sultry will take up a perfect pressing position in the clear and on the outside. In addition to a positional advantage this very lightly raced filly out of the highly productive Norm Casse barn is primed for a top effort off the 6-month layoff.  In her third career start she won off a similar lengthy break so there are no worries about the time off especially since she has just been tearing up this surface in those morning works. This is a clear one-turn filly that can get a mile and the race just sets up perfectly for her very tactical nature which is why she has not missed the Superfecta in all eight lifetime starts and she certainly won’t miss it here. In her last three races she has faced much, much tougher competition than what she will take on here and she should just dominate this group which features several fillies/mares not particularly well suited to the one-turn mile configuration as well as not in the best phase of their form cycle.'

Speaking of price, that is not what you will pay if you take advantage of of Super Screener's keep winning all winter offer with one low price through Pegasus World Cup in 2024.

Reinier Macatangay's Chilukki analysis focuses on no. 5 She Can't Sing and no. 7 Falconet.  He also provides a first-time starter play in race no. 7 and analysis of race no. 9 as well.

Ed DeRosa's fair odds focus on no. 3 Hidden Connection picking up top jock Tyler Gaffalione and Hot and Sultry as well. Here are Ed's Chilukki fair odds below:
